2017 Jeep Cherokee Jerking While Driving. This can cause intermittent engine stalling while driving even for just a moment, and it can eventually lead to a vehicle that wont start at all. Not even due for an oil change yet.
The shifter and shifter screen showed the vehicle is in drive but it flashes across the screen where your speedometer is located, vehicle in park.
I have found a few threads with similar problems but have not found any exact matches or fixes.

There are no warning lights, the car just shuts off while driving and takes several attempts to start it back up. I called the dealership to make an app. for them to check out my jeep, they had it for a few hours and said that it was the transmission and it needs to be replace. Only happens when accelerating and feels like the transmission is missing.
